A front desk officer should have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a friendly and professional demeanor. A front desk officer should also be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A front desk officer may need to have some knowledge of the organization's products or services, as well as basic computer and office equipment skills. A front desk officer typically reports to a supervisor or manager and works closely with other staff members.
