Position Overview:
We are currently hiring for our esteemed client, who is seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer-Fresh. As an Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost and resources required for projects related to power plants and switchgear. Your expertise in this field will contribute to the successful execution of projects and ensure client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis of project requirements, specifications, and drawings related to power plants and switchgear.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, equipment, labor, and other resources required for project execution.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to determine the most effective and cost-efficient solutions for power plant and switchgear projects.
- Evaluate bids, proposals, and quotations from suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements and budget constraints.
- Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during client presentations and negotiations.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of cost estimates, historical data, and industry benchmarks for future reference.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to power plants and switchgear.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of power plant systems, switchgear, electrical equipment, and related industry standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using estimation software and tools.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in cost estimation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with project management principles is a plus.
