Medical Scribe will assist offshore doctors in documentation, schedule management, and prescription requests. Candidates with a medical transcription background are encouraged to apply.
Some of the more detailed job duties and responsibilities of a Medical Scribe are:
- Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician, including but not limited to
- Patient's medical history and physical exam.
- Procedures and treatments performed by healthcare professionals, including nurses and physician assistants.
- Patient education and explanations of risks and benefits.
- Physician-dictated diagnoses, prescriptions, and instructions for patients or family members for self-care and follow-up.
- Prepare referral letters as directed by the physician.
- Dictation/faxing/phone calls and clerical tasks.
- Candidate should have good typing speed (45+ wpm)
- Proficiency in English and knowledge of Medical Terminology is MANDATORY (no exceptions)
- Good English communication skills
- Willing to work in Evening Shift
