Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing Refrigeration, ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identifying maintenance safeties on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and store requirements.
- Assisting with store queries.
- Ensure all routine maintenance work in handled on a regular schedule to reduce the risk of larger and more complex issues and to reduce cost
- Repair mechanical electrical system wiring circuit breakers, equipment and other components so that they remains at full functioning capacity
Requirements:
- HVAC Diploma / Training Certificate
- 5 -7 year of experience as an HVAC technician in Retail / commercial industries valid driver’s license. (Preferable)
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation system
- Working knowledge of control wiring
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in confined space
- Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice
