AI PRESALES MANAGER

The AI Pre-Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving the sales process by leveraging their expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and solutions. They work closely with the sales team, customers, and technical teams to understand customer needs, propose suitable AI solutions, and articulate the value proposition to secure new business opportunities. The AI Pre-Sales Manager is responsible for conducting product demonstrations, delivering presentations, and creating compelling proposals to win customer confidence and drive revenue growth.

This Presales Manager role requires Analytics and / or AI/ML background, not a general Presales Manager. This is a Presales Manager role specialised in AI/ ML Tooling presales management.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

Professional Qualification

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential AI opportunities and engage with prospective customers.
  • Proven experience in pre-sales or solution consulting roles, specifically in AI or related technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of various industry domains and their specific AI use cases.
  • Interact with customers, product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Participate in presale activities with the sales team. Building and coordinating project and work plans.
  • Prepared Request for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and RFQ (Requests for Quotation)
  • Proficient in commercial proposals preparation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design innovative AI solutions that address customer needs.
  • Applied experience with machine learning and data science
  • Experience creating focused, collaborative, results-driven teams (internal & partners)
  • Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations required.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-related technologies and tools such as MLFlow, KubeFlow, Kubernetes, AWS SageMaker, Azure MLStudio, DataRobot, and Databricks.
  • Ability to manage multiple objectives, tasks and clients required.
  • Ability to prospect and qualify potential accounts required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years’ experience in a reputable company
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design innovative AI solutions that address customer needs.
  • Good understanding of overlay networks and AI/ML

Job Responsibilities

  • Design connectivity/AI/FinTech solutions to new and/or current customers to achieve or exceed assigned quota.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team, helping them effectively communicate the value proposition of AI solutions to customers.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand the AI landscape, identify key differentiators, and position the organization's offerings effectively.

  • Respond to RFPs, and develop proposals, Technical as well as commercial for presentation to customer
  • Pricing of the proposed solutions
  • Contact prospective customers to determine needs and perform sales presentations to match company's products and identified needs.
  • Coordinate account resources with representatives from different stakeholders within the organization and outside partners
  • Remain knowledgeable of company portfolio to facilitate sales effort
  • Responsible for pre-sales function as needed
  • Provide follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products provided
  • Manage all aspects of the evaluation program or proof-of-concept
  • Understand and be an expert at AI, SaaS and Cloud selling economics

Essential Skills

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills required.
  • Excellent presentation skills required.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Should be fluent using CRM.
