Objective
- Planet Cellular is a dynamic and innovative company that is committed to delivering exceptional products/services to our customers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Accountant/Finance Specialist to join our team and manage our Amazon accounts and financial operations.
- As an Accountant/Finance Specialist focused on Amazon accounts, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, analyzing financial data, and managing various accounting functions related to our Amazon sales and operations. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to collaborate across teams will contribute to the company's financial success.
Responsibilities:
- Amazon Account Management:Monitor and reconcile Amazon transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Maintain Amazon seller accounts, including tracking orders, returns, and payments.
Review and analyze Amazon fee structures, refunds, and chargebacks.
Regularly update product pricing and inventory levels on Amazon platforms.
- Financial Reporting:Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to Amazon sales.
Compile and analyze data to create meaningful insights into sales trends, profitability, and expenses.
- Inventory Management:Coordinate with the operations team to ensure accurate inventory records and proper cost allocation.
Perform regular reconciliations between Amazon inventory and internal records.
- Financial Analysis:Assist in analyzing sales and expense data to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies to optimize Amazon sales performance.
- Compliance and Documentation:Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations in all Amazon-related financial activities.
Maintain organized and complete documentation of all financial transactions related to Amazon accounts.
- Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in Amazon accounting procedures.
Participate in the development and enhancement of internal controls.
- Collaboration:Collaborate with the Finance team, Operations team, and other stakeholders to drive successful Amazon account management.
Provide support and information for audits and financial reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Ability to understand and apply current accounting guidelines, system updates and revisions, and policy changes.
- 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or e-commerce, with a focus on Amazon accounts.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, preferably Amazon Seller Central.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CPA or relevant certification (preferred but not required).
- Ability to follow, apply, interpret, and explain instructions and/or guidelines.
- Ability to determine work priorities and meet schedules/deadlines of the work area. effective communication and ability to compose routine correspondence and reports.
- Note: this will be a Office-Based/Night Shift job to provide support in the US Head office.
