We are looking for a talented and imaginative Story Writer with a passion for creating captivating narratives for 3D animated series and animated TV commercials (TVC). As a Story Writer, you will be responsible for developing engaging storylines, compelling characters, and exciting plot arcs that resonate with our target audience. Your storytelling expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual storytelling elements of our animated projects.
Responsibilities:
- Ideate and develop original and creative concepts for 3D animated series and animated TV commercials.
- Craft compelling storylines, character arcs, and dialogue that bring the narrative to life and evoke emotions in the audience.
- Collaborate with the animation team, directors, and producers to translate story concepts into visually engaging sequences.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas and story elements for our animation projects.
- Write and present detailed story treatments, outlines, and full-length scripts for episodes or TV commercials.
- Ensure consistency in character behavior, plot continuity, and thematic coherence throughout the story.
- Adapt and refine story elements based on feedback from the creative team and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, animation techniques, and emerging storytelling approaches to enhance the quality of the storytelling process.
- Strive to create unique and memorable stories that resonate with the target audience and contribute to the overall success of the project.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Story Writer or Scriptwriter, with a focus on 3D animated series or animated TV commercials (TVC).
- A strong portfolio showcasing your storytelling abilities and previous work in animation.
- Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to create engaging and imaginative narratives.
- Proficiency in crafting well-structured and visually compelling story arcs and character development.
- Understanding of animation storytelling techniques and how to effectively communicate visual ideas through writing.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software for scriptwriting, such as Final Draft, Celtx, or Adobe Story.
- Ability to work collaboratively and take feedback constructively to improve the story development process.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and concepts to the animation team and project stakeholders.
- Passion for animation and a deep appreciation for the medium's unique storytelling potential.
- Knowledge of animation industry trends, including current popular animated series and successful TVC campaigns.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, Film, Animation, or a related field.
- Previous experience working on 3D animated series or TV commercials in a professional capacity.
- Familiarity with 3D animation software and techniques, which can aid in visualizing story elements.
