This position is responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of the organization. It involves strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and ensuring the company's financial health and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making by the executive management.
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to identify areas of improvement and optimize resource allocation.
Budgeting and Forecasting:

Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets.

Monitor and analyze budget performance regularly, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare financial forecasts based on market trends, business goals, and industry benchmarks to support effective financial planning.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial metrics.

Analyze financial data to provide insights into the company's financial performance, trends, and key drivers.
- Present financial reports and analysis to the executive team, providing clear and concise explanations of financial results.
Risk Management and Compliance:

Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.

Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and successful audits.

Assess and mitigate financial risks, identify potential issues, and implement appropriate risk management strategies.

Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure they are in accordance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Comply with the principles and policies in the information security policies where relevant to the job.
Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives, projects, and operational improvements.
Requirements

At least a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

A professional certification (e.g., CA) is mandatory.

Proven experience of 4 years in a senior finance role, preferably in a similar industry or organization, and at least 10-12 years of overall experience.

Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards (GAAP), and regulatory requirements.

Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.

Excellent leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability to contribute to overall business objectives.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems.
